About Anthony Baker

Anthony Baker is a Southern California–based vocalist, actor, and vocal coach who believes the voice is more than just sound—it’s a pathway to storytelling, identity, and connection. He holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from California Baptist University.

As a performer, Anthony has appeared in Sweeney Todd, Grease, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Godspell, and has been featured in numerous cabaret and concert settings, both as a soloist and choral artist. His performance background spans a wide range of styles, shaping his versatile and expressive approach to music-making.

As a teacher, Anthony specializes in a somatic approach to vocal technique, helping singers build a healthy, sustainable relationship with their voice by connecting body awareness to sound. His teaching is deeply individualized—each lesson is thoughtfully designed around the student’s unique goals, needs, and artistic voice. Whether working in musical theater, R&B, pop, or classical styles, he creates a supportive and empowering space where singers can explore, grow, and gain confidence.

At the heart of his work is a simple but powerful goal: to help people discover their authentic voice so they can tell their stories truthfully and without fear.
